Mobile Development with Connected Apps

Connected Apps is a new feature in the Summer '13 release that allows external applications to securely connect to Force.com over Identity and Data APIs. Connected Apps replace Remote Access Apps, offering finer granularity over permissions and data that can be accessed.

Community Profile Highlight

Kevin O'HaraStarting to program at age 10, Kevin O'Hara considers himself a lifelong developer and technology enthusiast. He is currently the CTO of LevelEleven, a Salesforce.com ISV partner focusing on building apps in the gamification space. Prior to joining LevelEleven, Kevin spent many years as a Force.com consultant through his own company, and Threshold Consulting in Florida. He is a regular speaker at Dreamforce and is very active within the Force.com community. Currently, Kevin runs the Detroit Force.com Developer User Group.

Kevin is also a node.js enthusiast and builds many node.js technologies that integrate with Force.com technologies. His most popular project, nforce, is a full-featured salesforce REST API wrapper written in node.js. Kevin also co-founded the Detroit node.js user group called Detnode.
