Going Mobile: The Salesforce Mobile SDK Arrives
Ride the wave of massive mobile device adoption with the new Salesforce.com Mobile SDK, which is now generally available to all Force.com and Database.com developers.
Our latest SDK is an open-source suite of developer technologies — like a REST API and OAuth 2.0 — that you can use to build great mobile apps. The SDK supports three approaches for building apps: a native approach (e.g., Android, iOS), HTML5 approach, and finally a hybrid approach that combines a native container with HTML5.
Stream On
The Streaming API pilot program is now open to all Force.com orgs! This new API lets you expose a near real-time stream of data from the Force.com platform in a
Force.com streaming API
secure and scalable way. You can create topics, to which applications can subscribe, receiving asynchronous notifications of changes to data in Force.com.
