Destination Dreamforce: See the Dreamforce Developer Preview
The first half of 2007 was packed with new Salesforce platform technology announcements, including January's Apex Code Developer Preview and the Salesforce SOA announcement in May. But we're just getting started: Developers@Dreamforce '07 will feature one of our biggest technology announcements ever. And the best news of all: We have so much to share with you on September 16 that we're going open the curtain early and show off a few new technologies before Dreamforce even begins!

Ready to find out more? Attend our live Webinar on July 17, Inside the Dreamforce Developer Preview, where we'll demonstrate some key preview technologies and provide details on how you can get started working with them right away.

And don't forget to secure your spot for the really big show, Developers@Dreamforce '07. It's our biggest community event of the year where more than 1,000 developers gather for three days of exclusive technical content, hands-on labs, and special events. It's also a great opportunity for independent software vendors to meet customers, evangelize products, and work with the AppExchange team to build success on the platform. Don't wait to register, early bird pricing ends July 16!

Announcing Salesforce Group Edition featuring Google AdWords
It's a perfect match: Salesforce.com and Google have joined in strategic alliance to help businesses acquire customers and run more efficiently. The first product: Salesforce Group Edition featuring Google AdWords, which combines the power of Salesforce CRM applications with the Google AdWords platform to allow users to seamlessly generate leads via advertising, then turn those leads into customers. ADN members can learn more about Google technology integration by watching the newly posted tech session, Google Apps and the Salesforce Platform, from last month's Developer Conference. Not an ADN member? It's free and easy to join.

ADN App of the Month: Google Gadgets & Yahoo Widgets

As the universe of mashups quickly expands, Appirio has been busy connecting the Salesforce API to other web services to solve real users' problems. Appirio offers a variety of Google Gadgets and Yahoo Widgets on the AppExchange, proving that you don't have to deliver a complex solution in order to be successful. Using feature requests from the IdeaExchange as their guide, Appirio delivered a set of problem-solving applications in less than six weeks. Even better, users can install each application immediately—without having to seek approval from an administrator—and use them seamlessly inside their personal iGoogle or Yahoo desktop.
